Zauberei an der Gitarre und nahezu Trance heraufbeschw\u00f6rende Drums und Synthesizer: das sind Esben and the Witch. Nach einem d\u00e4nischen M\u00e4rchen benannt, macht das Trio konsequenterweise gespenstische und verzaubernde Musik, irgendwo zwischen Dream Pop, Post Rock, Folk, Electronica und Goth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c4853c;\">Nach einer selbstver\u00f6ffentlichten EP (2009), erhielt ihr Debutalbum \u201aViolet Cries\u2019 2010 sowohl von Kritikern als auch von Fans gro\u00dfe Anerkennung und stieg auf Platz 13 der UK Indie Charts. 2014 ver\u00f6ffentlichten Esben and the Witch ein weiteres Album, &#8218;A New Nature&#8216; (2014), auf ihrem eigenen Imprint, &#8218;Nostromo Records&#8216;, aufgenommen von Steve Albini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c4853c;\">Mittlerweile als \u00e4u\u00dferst individuelle Band bekannt und mit dem Ruf eines herausragenden Liveacts, hat auch das Songwriting der Band, deutlich erkennbar im neuen Album \u201aOlder Terrors\u2019 (2016), den letzten Feinschliff bekommen. Neben Solo- und Kollaborations- Projekten war er Gr\u00fcndungsmitglied der bekannten Electro-Industrial-Band Haujobb und arbeitet seitdem auch als Produzent, Remixer und Live- und Studiomusiker.
